      will be as follows:

      November 22nd 10am only

      November 23rd-27th No Weekday Masses

      November 29th 10am and 8pm

Domestic Alternative Spring Break Trip Meetings

The individual meetings for the Domestic Alternative Spring Break Trips to Chicago, Michigan, and Mississippi will be held from 11/30-12/5.   An individual meeting is manditory for anyone interested in going on an Alternative Spring Break Trip.  Interested students should schedule a meeting using our online system setup through Google Calendar.  For more information on scheduling a meeting, or for general information about our Alternative Spring Break Trips, please contact Ryan Cronshaw (rpcron@vt.edu).

FALL SERVICE TRIP IN ROANOKE

 

        
 

THANKS TO ALL WHO MADE OUR 2009 FALL SERVICE EXPERIENCE A HUGE SUCESS!  As service is a pillar of Newman, one of our main events for this semester was a Day of Service in Roanoke. Some 110 studnets joined us for this event that encompassed two parts; a Fall Service Retreat on Friday October 16th and a Service Day in Roanoke on October 17th. PARKING FOR HOME FOOTBALL GAMES

Are you planning on coming to Blacksburg for a home football game this year?  Are you in need of a place to park?  Located just a few blocks from Lane Stadium, the Newman House is an incredibley convienent place to park and tailgate for the game.  Plus, your donation will help support the various ministries and programs that we offer throughout the semester, such as our freshmen student retreat.  Thank you for considering being partners with us in our minstry!!!

FAITH SHARING

 

 
One way in which students are engaged in expressing their faith is through weekly faith sharing groups.  Our community works with the Renew International organization to provide weekly, small group, student-led faith sharing based on each week's Gospel reading. We currently have several groups that meet at different days throughout the week. Contact Clint Durney (cdurney@vt.edu) for more information.  We will have an iformational meeting about Faith Sharing groups on Monday, Spetember 14th at 7:00pm at the Newman House.
